  1. Grade — the A–F connection-speed grade for the area, for both consumption and feed-in
  2. Curtailment — an estimate of how often a feed-in project there would be curtailed
  3. Verdict — a plain-language read on whether to pursue, watch, or avoid the site

When to use it

Use the screener before you invest in a site: before optioning land, before requesting a connection, and before commissioning a paid grid study. It won’t replace a formal connection request with the DSO, but it tells you in seconds whether that request is likely to sit in a queue for years.
